After your first victorious skirmish against the Black Rabbit Brotherhood in the Malum District, ensure to pick up the portrait of Pinocchio. This will come in handy later when you return to Hotel Krat and have a conversation with Geppetto. Music holds a special place in Lies of P. Make sure you take some time to unwind and listen to the records you gather in your adventure at the record player located in the hotel. Doing so will reward you with increased Humanity, thereby assisting your progress toward obtaining the fabled weapon. This includes both regular records and golden records, the latter being exclusively attainable in the New Game+ mode.
Step 4: A Sombre Gift
Upon defeating Laxasia the Complete, seek out Sophia and choose the option to Grant Her Peace. As a result, Pinocchio will undergo a noticeable transformation, turning his hair grey and signaling you're on the right path.
