Last week, we discussed a Bloomberg interview with Xbox's Phil Spencer regarding the uncertainty of whether The Elder Scrolls VI would be exclusively available on PC and Xbox, akin to Starfield. A recently publicized document from the FTC v. Microsoft case, relating to the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, reveals Microsoft's future plans clearly stating The Elder Scrolls VI will not be obtainable on PlayStation, limiting it to PC and Xbox. The document, intended for internal usage only, is available for view on The Verge. Contrary to Xbox and Bethesda's claims about the advanced stage of the game's development, the document suggests The Elder Scrolls VI could potentially be released in 2026, or even later. We believe the 2026 reference could be a feasible completion date.
