The Esports World Cup promises an exciting summer festival, featuring a variety of special competitions as well as events that form part of larger competitive circuits.
Most of the competitions planned for the summer feature exclusive tournaments where teams vie for an extra trophy and additional prize money. However, certain events contribute directly to their main competitive leagues, as is the case with the Apex Legends and EA Sports FC 25 tournaments.
The Apex Legends segment will serve as the Global Series Midseason Playoffs. Here, top teams from around the globe will battle for ranking points and qualification for the ultimate World Championship, along with the distinguished Midseason trophy. Key details include:
- A prize pool totaling $2 million
- Competition scheduled from July 10 to July 13
- The participation of 40 teams
In addition, the EA Sports FC showpiece will take the form of the FC Pro World Championship. In this contest, 32 of the world's leading competitors will strive for the title of world champion and claim the majority of a $1.5 million prize fund, all unfolding between August 7 and August 10.
It is clear that this year’s festival is designed to deliver an unmissable experience for fans and competitors alike.
